Using Mission Roller Goalie Gear on Ice?

Anyone used the new Helium (or Helium Lite) pads, cather, blocker or chest protector on Ice yet? Does the inner leg boards on the pads make you slide too much? Are they strong enough for the heavier puck? They look great but, seems to good to be true for the price. :)

Not a goalie myself, but a team mate has used his Heliums on ice, and regretted it. He said he did slide a bit too much, but maybe just because he wasnt used to it?
