hey guys i was juz wondering which pair to get.. i can see the differences in description, however do those differences actually matter very much? as well as how different is one boot from the other in terms of feel and comfort? if anyone has tried both skates it would be very helpful if you could advise me here..
cheers!

Basically, the 8R is designed for the performance indoor player and the 6R is set-up for the recreational indoor/outdoor player.
The main differences in the skates are below the boot. There are 4 differences that demand the higher cost.
1. The 8R has a composite sole, which stiffens the skate making it more responsive.
2. The frame is made of polished, extruded aluminum for increased strength vs 2 piece anodized aluminum
3. Soft Unity wheels for indoor play vs multi-surface Razor wheels
4. ABEC 7 bearings vs ABEC 5
Just decide which skate fits your style and perfromance needs.
Hope that helps.

i love u man!
that was the exactly what i needed..
one question though... what makes the 6 an outdoor skate considering the boot exterior doesn't appear different in design to the 8.. i don't see any reinforcement like the bauer megas

Both Nike skates have the same side abrasion guards located just behind the black toe cap. They're just hard to see because they're clear. They're there and work well.
The Nike 6R would work better outdoors just because it comes with a harder wheel that will last longer outdoors.
