Thanks for all your help!
If you're not sure, try a curve out in a woody first. But to be honest, if you are an experienced player, you should be able to handle almost any curve.

Hi,
first of all, I want to say that I am 5ft8 125-130 lbs. Last year, I bought a Nike Bauer one70 sr with a 102 flex because I didn't know a thing about hockey sticks. I actually have an okay wrist and slap shot but I can hardly do snap shots and one timers. I don't want to spend a lot of money on a top of the line stick so I was thinking to get a Bauer X40 int stick... Would this be a good choice?

Do you like the shaft width of your current stick? If you go with an inter stick, the shaft dimensions may be smaller than the senior stick.

An alternate would be to buy a senior stick in a very whippy flex like 77 or 75. Some companies sell those. That will give you the larger shaft dimensions and still have a low flex rating. Even if you cut it down a few inches, you will still be a lot whippier than your current stick.

The non-CL U+ was always a great all-around stick. Best way to say it is that it got an 8 or 9 out of 10 on every aspect a stick should have, but never got that full 10/10. I am sure the CL is likely the same.

The 10K is reported as more of a finese stick. Good for passing, wristers, quick shots, etc. Seems like the ultimate forwards stick.

The X:60 has been proving itself so far to be a good all-around stick like the U+ is. The dual kickpoints will do that. It will be a tad heavier than the U+ or 10K, but still a very light stick.

As for reliability, all are somewhat new and really have not been proven in long-term tests. The U+ CL seems to have gotten the best reliability report so far. I know 2 people that have broke 10K's and there are a lot of reports of X:60's breaking.

I love my 10k for wristers and snappers. It has been goin strong for 3 months or so.

Default Harrow

Anyone have any experience with harrow ops? They are having a good deal right now and I was wondering how they are in terms of durablilty and shooting, mainly wrist and snap shots. Thanks

Would I want a senior or junior wood end-plug for a intermediate shaft?

Is there a difference between the old one55 and the new bauer one55? Also, has anyone used the one55? How's the power and durability on it?
