Default CCM Stage 2 blade replacement

has any one been able to fit a tapered blade into the shaft of an RBZ stage 2 stick...I have many bauer apx blades with the .520 hosel and it seems like I have to cut up a long way before it can fit.....some will say stick it in the butt end of the shaft but then you lose the purpose of the flex and taper....did CCM purposely design a stick so no blade can be installed?

I haven't had any luck fitting a blade into the Stage 2... I doubt that CCM did this on purpose; though nowadays, many sticks have extremely aggressive tapers in the hosel in order to provide a better kickpoint.

I have converted a Stage 2 ops into a tapered shaft. Cut at fused point and chisel out the blade tendon that's left inside.
