Im also trying to figure out another helmet that is fairly low profile. Are the 7500 and 5100 very low profile? or are they a larger bulkier helmet. What about an older model like the 5000 or 5500? Im open to other suggestions on a non-bulky, low profile helmet

Sort of hijacking, but did you try on a 7500 at all? I'd be interested in knowing how 5100 and 7500 compare, especially in width.

I have a 7500 but I don't believe there were any 5100s in stock at my LHS when I was buying. It fits good, but not great, and i'd like a lower profile helmet as the 7500 sits kind of high.

I was about to pick the 5100 over the 4500, but I got such a good deal on a Pro Stock Canadian Made 4500 with Jofa cage I made my mind up lol

the 7500 sucks, very high profile same crap fit as the 5500, considering the 7500 is a revamped "improved" 5500 model

I'm so glad I didn't buy a 7500 without trying it on first, even at 29 bucks when I went to try it out I got a headache from the fit and height of it.
