Hi! I'm an Italian inline player. my name is Stefano and this is my first post!

This is me with the Under 16 Italian National team during 2001 year.
The pic was taken during warming up before Italy - Belgium (3-1).
I played only 4 games in the national team but I'm very proud of that!

the following pic was taken during warming up before a game of the 06/07 season with my team.

the following pic is one that I love: me talking with the referee when I was 17 years old. My face says: whattttt????

It's always kind of painful to see guys playing inline in ice set up cause I know it's gotta be soooo god awfully hot. I get way to hot just playing in inline pants with no girdle, I can't imagine playing in all that stuff!

is not so bad..in italy players started to use girdle only a few years ago.
many players still use light ice hockey pants under the in line pants such as a girdle..

We have a full contact ball league where we have to wear large shoulder pads so you look like a div with inline pants so we wear socks.

I believe you're up against Sumo's. I train with them occasionally because our u18s team are the feeder team for the Sumos u21.

I guess playing in california my whole life is what makes that seem miserable to me. I often forget that a lot of places drop in temp :)

haha, its summer and the temperature is barely grazing 30degreesC, even so, our rink is possibly the worst insulated in the world, its roasting hot in summer and freezing in the winter.. and we have no air-con or heating

One of the rinks up here you have to pay for heat (i think its like .50 or a 1 for 15 minutes?). Parents love when they get to watch games there.
