And they look comfortable and flexible (not stiff), which is the most important thing to me. Nice glove, Z.

Those are definitely unique. I'm willing to bet that they aren't "Pro stock" but a custom order glove. The carbon and mesh gussets are very... odd. And the palm and cuff are interesting choices.

Nice gloves everyone, I'm just rockin the Vapor X's until I become a better hockey player. Just thought I'd ask, why do you guys prefer short cuffs on gloves? I've never put on a short cuffed glove so I wouldn't know.

Yes, as Z said.. movement. My wrists move A LOT, and I hate the feeling of a cuff slapping me ANYWHERE.

The other reason for short cuffs is elbow pad length. Your cuff should end (typically) somewhere close to where your elbow pad begins. If you had elbow pads that came way up on your forearms and gloves that were long cuff, they may cause you some range of motion (or, at least, anger) problems.

Those of you that have read my other post will know Im a total beginner when it comes to playing, so my opinion doesn't really count but thought I'd share mine, however unimpressive.

$20 on closeout. The guy in the store said they were a good glove, and they just felt 'right' to me.

That's true. It is also quite wide compared to others I looked at. They seem very comfortable despite me not having worn them in so much yet durable enough not to only last 5 minutes. And really, if they don't, I only spent $20 on them...

...also they match my red/white jersey. And Im perfectionist enough for little extra things like that to make me smile.
