Default CCM 1052 Super Tacks vs. 852 Super Tacks

I have been skating on a pair of 852 Super Tacks and they fit my feet very well. Obviously, they haven't made the Tacks line in many years. In looking for a back-up pair I stumbled onto a brand new, in box, pair of 1052 Super Tacks at a very favorable price. My question is, other than the stiffness difference, are there any other significant differences between the 852's and 1052's? I do note that the 1052's have a scalloped steel blade.

Also, I would welcome any review from people who have actual personal experience wearing the 1052's. Thanks
