Overview

The Top Shelf Magnetic Shooting Targets is a set of fun and easy-to-use training tools that will sharpen your shooting accuracy. Simply stick the targets to the inside lip of a metal goalpost in the area you would like to practice shooting at and then proceed to fire away! The target will fall to the inside of the net upon contact, but Top Shelf offers their Shooting Target Tethers to save you time on resetting the targets!

Top Shelf built these targets with virtually bullet-proof plastic and attached the super-strong targets with a patent-pending method to ensure they are permanently molded together. You can shoot ice hockey or roller hockey pucks at it, plus it's compatible with any metal hockey net.


The Orange and Purple Targets have an 8" diameter, perfect for the beginner or for general target practice. For more of a challenge but still suitable for all players are the Green Targets, which have a diameter of 6" to harness sniping accuracy. The Combo comes with two Orange and two Green Targets and now a limited edition Purple pack, so players can mix things up!

Would Recommend
Shot accuracy boosterOutside of league play, I spent many years working on my shot accuracy without a goalie or nets to shoot on. Later, when I had nets to shoot on, I was just working on hitting the posts (no real concern for the height I was hitting it). While goalies love it when you hit the wrong side of the post in a game, as a forward I can tell you it is a bummer. I got these about a month ago after someone else brought some to the park. I am really happy with these. After a couple practice sessions my ability to hit the smaller green ones wherever I put them went from 10% to about 50/50 or better. I really wish I would have gotten them sooner. The goalies are not going to like when I pick the right spot to beat them and actually shoot the puck where I aim it. Great product!

Would Recommend
Better than shooting at an empty netThese are fun. Make a nice smacking sound when you slap them with a puck. Can be tied to net with an old hockey lace for easy setup after knocking them down. Only negative is that if you hit the post or crossbar hard enough they will all fall off. Probably worse for me because I use them outdoors in often frosty conditions with a dinged-up net.
